  • This book was exactly what I needed for class. I thought it would be more used and beat up since it was considered a “used” book, but it was actually like brand new.

  • Amazon mistakenly posted that the text book included a study guide. The vendor e-mailed me promptly indicating that they only had the text book with no study guide. I needed both so the seller refunded my money the next business day. What a great service!

  • This book covers all of the primary topics in I/O Psychology in a very logical order. Dr. Muchinsky’s applied experiences have added to the book tremendously, as students can relate the topics in the book to real-world issues. Dr. Muchinsky is also very happy to answer any questions that students may have while using the book. There are also plenty of online materials for students to study with and for instructors to use (lecture notes, outlines, test bank, discussion guides, activities, etc.). Great Book!!!

The only edit I would suggest is to delete the last chapter about management/union relations. This is a very minor field within I/O and does not need to be covered in an intro book. Overall, it is all very well-written and easy for students to understand. My students enjoyed it very much and I will certainly be using it in the future.
